We are kicking off our first Bragg Creek Festival with some fabulous prizes. It’s easy to enter; just sign-up for our email newsletter (see the sidebar on the left) and you will be automatically entered into our contest to win one of the great prize packages below.

On May 3, 2008, at the Oscar Lopez Concert, we'll be randomly selecting the lucky winner of the Festival Prize Package from our email newsletter mailing list.

We will randomly select the winners of the Hiker's Prize Package and Spa Prize Package on May 31, 2008 during the Bragg Creek Festival.

Contest Rules

  1. TO PLAY: Join our newsletter mailing list by entering your name and email address in the boxes on the bar to the left. When you receive a confirmation email, just confirm that you want to be on our mailing list. The winner will be randomly selected from the list so your name must be on the list as of May 2, 2008 for the Festival Prize Package or May 30, 2008 for the Hiker's and Spa Prize Packages. If you unsubscribe from the list prior to the draw dates, you will not be entered in the contest.
  2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PLAY: Subscription to our email newsletter is free.
  3. Only one entry per email address is allowed.
  4. People who have provided us with email address, when purchasing tickets for Bragg Creek Performing Arts performances, will be automatically entered into the Festival contest. If you attempt to subscribe to the newsletter list and receive a message that you are already subscribed, that means you have been automatically entered in the Festival contest. If you remain on our newsletter mailing list until the draw date then you are eligible to win one of the prize packages, if your name is drawn.
  5. ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning the contest will be 1 out the total number of email addresses on our mailing list. As of the contest start, there are 467 addresses on the mailing list.
  6. Automated or programmed entries will be voided. Persons joining the mailing list must have a valid email address and must receive an email which requests confirmation of your email newsletter subscription. You must confirm subscription to the list. Unconfirmed email addresses will be removed from the list prior to the draw.
  7. Prize package winners must answer two questions about the Bragg Creek Festival prior to being declared the winner. The questions will be about information available on this web site.
  8. Prizes must be received as indicated. There will be no exchange for cash.
  9. Winner must receive the prizes in Bragg Creek, Alberta.
  10. Winner(s) will be notified by email. The entrant must reply within 5 days or a new winner will be selected.
  11. Winner must be 18 years of age or older. In the event that the email of a person under the age of 18 is selected, they are permitted to transfer the selection to their parent or legal guardian, who will then be the eligible entrant.
  12. By claiming a prize, prize claimants consent to the use of their name and/or photograph, without compensation, in any publicity carried out by Bragg Creek Performing Arts and/or the Bragg Creek Festival.
  13. Winner(s) release Contest Sponsor, Bragg Creek Performing Arts, Bragg Creek Community Association, Bragg Creek Festival and its Sponsors, the prize suppliers, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, including, without limitation, their advertising and promotional agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damage incurred with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize and acknowledge that Contest Sponsor, Bragg Creek Performing Arts, Bragg Creek Community Association, Bragg Creek Festival and its Sponsors, and their officers, directors, employees and agents have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied in fact or in law, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose.
  14. Bragg Creek Performing Arts and/or the Bragg Creek Festival reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify the contest at any time, if it determines that for any reason the contest cannot be run as originally planned or any other occurrence compromising the fairness or integrity of the contest.
  15. Employees, volunteers, officers, directors or person domiciled with them, of Bragg Creek Festival, Bragg Creek Performing Arts, Bragg Creek Community Association, Bragg Creek Chamber of Commerce and prize sponsor organizations, are not eligible to win a prize.
  16. By participating in this contest, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of the Bragg Creek Festival, which are final
